About a month ago (on June 2nd to be exact) I opened a Fundrise account. Fundrise makes it easy to invest in Real Estate and all you need is $500. [More details on what Fundrise is and how here in this post]
I started my account off with $1,000 and I promised you guys that I’d keep you posted on my experience with this investing method, and I have a major update to share!
On July 1st, I got a notification that there was an update to my Fundrise Portfolio, I logged in and saw that my account was up $19!!! I know that $19 isn’t a lot of money generally speaking… but to make $19 without doing ANY work, in such a short amount of time is AMAZING. The account had only been open for a month at this point! If this money had been sitting in a savings account, it wouldn’t have even made one penny in interest yet.
I honestly did not expect to see returns so soon. This is by far the EASIEST money I’ve made all year! All I did was click a few buttons, fill out a form online, transfer some funds, and boom- this money is multiplying while I sleep.
Reminder- Fundrise is seen as a long term investment vehicle, and these funds stay in the account for at least 5 years. You have the option of withdrawing the funds before the 5 year mark but it might incur a penalty if you do. That’s why it’s important that you invest money that you don’t need access to right now. I honestly don’t mind the money sitting and growing. I love that I can set it, forget it, and cash out later!
BUT this isn’t the only way I earn money with my Fundrise Investment. Along with these long term gains that stay in the account, I also get quarterly dividend payouts directly into my bank account. Check out the payout I recently received.
Not bad for a $1,000 investment, right?! With Fundrise your portfolio not only grows over time, but you also get dividend payouts based on your portfolio size!
I also love that I get updates when my portfolio acquires a new development. Here’s an example of one of those updates –
My money is out there working hard! Aren’t you ready to put your money to work? If you’re interested in learning more about Fundrise, or starting an account, click here. You can start your account with as little as $500.

Happy Investing!
Hi, I’m very new to financial planning through investments. Today I read about fundraise and got all excited. Then I found this page and now I’m more excited. One question I have is how is this investment currently doing?
It’s doing great! I’m up 22%!
