Honestly, this week flew by and I don’t have any podcasts, articles, books or webinars to share…BUT I did discover the ultimate home improvement tool hack.
I must admit when I need to buy home improvement supplies like paint brushes, caulk, light bulbs, etc…I usually head straight to Lowe’s, when all the while…the Dollar Tree has had all of these items for a $1 and I had no idea! Have you ever walked down the home improvement aisle at the Dollar Tree? If not, check it out the next time you’re there and thank me later!
Here’s what I picked up today:
- A set of paintbrushes
- Goo Gone
- Painter’s Tape
- Light Bulbs
- Caulk
- Furniture Scratch Markers
- Sanding Block
- and a Level
…all for a total of $8 DOLLARS.
Just last week I bought a 2-pack paint brush set from Lowe’s and it cost the same amount as all of these items from the Dollar Tree combined!
Now…I still have to test out the quality of these brushes, but for some of these items, quality just doesn’t matter. A tape measure is a tape measure and will do the job no matter the quality.
So, if you’re looking to stock up on home improvement basics… try Dollar Tree and let me know what you think!
